New data is usually presented twice each business day at approximately noon Central Time and 6:00 p.m. Central Time. If you do not have a network connection, Texas Wells will revert to your most recently viewed data.

Only data from pending permits that have been through mapping review at the Railroad Commission may be accessed. Most unamended, new drilling permits are represented by their Texas original survey centroids, but their data is not accessible.
All locations shown on the map are approximate. Locations of pins on the map may not capture changes made on pending permits in some cases.
